Scholarship
For each of the past 4 years, the Association for Corporate Growth, National Capital Chapter has solicited candidates from area schools to receive a scholarship. This year, there were 18 nominees, all with excellent academic, athletic, and/or student achievements. The selection process was rigorous. In addition to the student’s GPA, consideration was given to the nominee’s written statement for being selected, a faculty member’s recommendation, and community service. Seven students made the original cut. Each of the finalists was interviewed by 4 members of the Scholarship Committee which resulted in the decision on the 3 awardees.

Money raised from our annual golf tournament at the Westwood Country Club directly supports our Scholarship Fund.
The Scholarship Committee typically meets once a month via conference call or in person meetings.
