2010 Corporate Growth Nomination Awards


The 2010 winners will be chosen at the annual black tie gala event held at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner on April 8th

Nominations are now closed. The judges committee will evaluate all completed nomination forms confidentially.

The 2010 award categories are
:
  • Emerging Growth Company Award (Under than $100M in revenue)
    The Emerging Growth Company Award (Less than $100M in revenue) will be awarded to a regional Company that has exhibited consistent, sustainable and profitable growth. The selection criteria for this award will include quantitative factors such as revenue growth, profitability, market share gains, and subjective factors such as culture, community involvement, and demonstrated leadership qualities. The award nominees must have less than $100M in revenue for the most recent fiscal year. Quantitative growth factors will be evaluated over a three-year period.
     
  • Emerging Growth Company Award ($100M - $500M in revenue)

    The Emerging Growth Company Award ($100M - $500M in revenue) will be awarded to a regional company that has exhibited consistent, sustainable and profitable growth. The selection criteria for this award will include quantitative factors such as revenue growth, profitability, market share gains, and subjective factors such as culture, community involvement, or demonstrated leadership qualities. The award nominees must have $100M - $500M in revenue for the most recent fiscal year. Quantitative growth factors will be evaluated over a three-year period.

  • Emerging Growth Company Award (Above $500M in revenue)

    The Emerging Growth Company Award (Abone $500M in revenue) will be awarded to a regional company that has exhibited consistent, sustainable and profitable growth. The selection criteria for this award will include quantitative factors such as revenue growth, profitability, market share gains, and subjective factors such as culture, community involvement, or demonstrated leadership qualities. The award nominees must have over $500M in revenue for the most recent fiscal year. Quantitative growth factors will be evaluated over a three-year period.

  • Corporate Executive Dealmaker of the Year Award
    Corporate Executive Dealmaker of the Year Award The Corporate Executive Dealmaker of the Year Award will recognize the top corporate executive dealmaker of the year who has demonstrated substantial success in accomplishing growth-oriented transactions. Growth-oriented transactions include public or private financings and acquisitions or mergers. Each nominated dealmaker should be a chief executive officer, chief financial officer, chief operating officer or corporate development officer who has been instrumental in fostering corporate growth with notable financing or acquisition success during 2009. Selection criteria are primarily quantitative and will include number of deals, volume of deals, and impact of deals on market share. Less quantitative factors such as impact of the dealmaker's transactions on the regional market place will also be considered.
  • Capital Provider (Debt/Equity) or Investment Dealmaker of the Year Award

           The Capital Provider (Debt/Equity) or Investment Banker of the Year
will recognize the top investment banker or capital provider dealmaker in our region who has a history of successful growth-oriented transactions. Each nominated dealmaker should be an executive of an investment banking, venture capital, private equity, subordinated lender, senior lender or other investment firm. Selection criteria will evaluate quantitative factors such as the nominee’s involvement in investment transactions, number of transactions, average transaction size, deal volume and number of transactions. Qualitative factors such as involvement in ACG or other corporate growth fostering activities in our region will be considered.

   

  • Deal of the Year Aware (Under $100 M in Transactional Value)
    The Deal of the Year Award will be awarded to the regional company that was a party to the most outstanding transaction of those nominated. A deal could be a public or private financing, an acquisition or merger or a divestiture. Selection criteria will include quantitative factors such as the value of the transaction, its impact on shareholder value and market share and subjective consideration of the transactions impact on our region and its overall difficulty.

    Deal of the Year Award (Over $100M in Transactional Value)
    The Deal of the Year Award will be awarded to the regional company that was a party to the most outstanding transaction of those nominated. A deal could be a public or private financing, an acquisition or merger or a divestiture. Selection criteria will include quantitative factors such as the value of the transaction, its impact on shareholder value and market share and subjective consideration of the transactions impact on our region and its overall difficulty.
     
  • Nominations are now closed. The award winners will be selected by a judges committee and made official at our Annual Awards gala to be held on April 8th at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner.
